- Chill stage :
- time - in forenoon.
- Thirst : thirsty before and after the chill stage.
- Aggravation : by drinking water, by dry heat like stove. Still the pt wants to be near the stove.
- Associated with : palpitation, anxiety, hunger, headache in temples.
- Heat stage :
- Time : long lasting, sets after chill, generally in noon to evening time.
- Thirst : drinks little but frequently (ars.).
- Associated with : fiery red and hot face (bella.), headache in temples, delirium if heat is too severe.
- Sweat stage :
- Time : sets immediately after heat stage, mostly at night.
- Thirst : great thirst during sweat stage.
- Character : profuse and debilitating.
