Mind

• Majority of the complains of ambra grisea starts due to embarrassment (ambra - embarrassment).
• Patient can not pass the urine or stool in presence of others (nat.mur.), like nursing staff. 
• After business embarrassment, the patient is not able to sleep at night. 
• Music is intolerable, causes weeping (nat.mur., thuja, aco. - music makes her sad).

Respiratory system 

• Violent spasmodic cough with hoarseness and eructations. 
• Dry whooping cough which is aggravated by talking. 
• Asthmatic conditions, whistling in cheat during breathing. 

GIT

• Eructations associated with violent spasmodic cough. 
• Thirstlessness (aeth., puls., ipec., gels., ars. in chronic, apis except chill stage).
• Flatulence with distension after midnight. 
• Constipation : as she is suffering from great embarrassment, she is not able to pass the urine or stool in presence of anyone, so that she suffers from frequent and ineffectual urging.

Female symptoms 

• Menses : too early, too profuse, with nymphomania. 
• Discharge of blood between two menses, at every little accidents - long walk, hard stool etc. 
• Leucorrhoea : profuse, thick bluish white mucous discharge, worse at night.
• Pruritus vulva : itching with soreness and swelling (apis).
• Burning in sexual parts.

Modalities 

• Aggravation : warm drink, warm room, talking, night, in presence of others. 
• Amelioration : after eating, cold air.
