Liver + / GB Stone

  • A/F : Change in weather. 
  • Doctrine of signature : made from yellow colored juice, and acts of liver which secrets yellow colored juice, also generalized paleness including conjunctiva and skin due to jaundice. 
  • It is indicated in nearly all complaints of the liver. 
  • It produces Congestion, Inflammation and Degeneration (CID) in the liver.
  • Pain :  in liver region of the abdomen, along with the lower and inner angle of right scapula. 
  • Jaundice : yellow discoloration of the skin and conjunctiva.
  • Nausea and vomiting with indigestion of the food. 
  • Bitter taste in mouth, due to bilious imbalance. 
  • Tongue : yellow coated tongue with imprint of teeth.
  • Associated with right sided lung affection like pneumonia and night diarrhoea. 
  • Chelidonium is also a remedy of choice in GB stone with the same characteristics. 
  • Aggravation : motion, change in weather. 
  • Amelioration : after dinner, from pressure especially in GB stone.

  • Mention the whole liver affections, along with the description below. 
  • Diarrhoea alternates with constipation (Nux.v., sulp., ant.c.).
  • Diarrhoea especially at night. 
  • Stool : involuntary, yellow, brown or white slimy.

Extras

  • Cheli., Bry., And lyc., Predominantly acts on lower lobe of the right lung, this is why they can be compared.
  • And also the bry. And lyc. are complementary of Chelidonium. 
  • While Chelidonium antidotes Bryonia. 
  • Pain of Chelidonium is at lower and inner angle of right scapula, as there is a location of lower lobe of right lung and back side of the liver as well.
  • Cheli. Is indicated in acute conditions, while lyco. Is indicated in chronic one.
